The Clarkson School and Clarkson University offer the 2008 Young Scholars Summer Program.  This is a week- long summer program for highly motivated students who have an interest in conducting research to solve real-world problems from the perspectives of business, engineering and ethics.  Further information is available in the guidance office.

 

Summer Internships up for Grabs

Students ages 17-25 have an opportunity to create an internship program this summer.  Students would need to develop their own internship site and complete an application/ program cover sheet by May 14, 2008.  Further details are available in the guidance office.

 

 

Cornell Cooperative Extension and SUNY Canton are offering a Veterinary Science program to students who are at least 13, are well motivated in animal science interests, and will be able to consistently attend the meetings.  The classes will be held at SUNY Canton one evening per week for five weeks beginning in February.  The cost of the program is $15.  See Mrs. Hitchman for further information.

 

            SUNY Potsdam is offering a Financial AID Day for students and parents to complete the FAFSA form.  Registration information is available in the guidance office.

            Attention students wanting to prepare to improve SAT scores.  There will be an SAT workshop available beginning in February.  Further information is available in the guidance office.

 

SAT Prep Course will be offered at Clarkson University beginning 9/19.  Information is available in the guidance office.
