Hello, and welcome to ELA 9! I teach all sections of 9th grade English. In 9th grade, we mostly focus on developing our writing skills while reading major texts such as 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Romeo and Juliet, and a selection of short stories, nonfiction articles, and poetry.

In my spare time, I enjoy creative writing and traveling. You will probably hear me talk quite a bit about the 1.5 years I spent living in Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as my two cats, Bess and George (named after Nancy Drew's best friends).

I look forward to helping my students improve their reading and writing skills throughout 9th grade!
