STUDIO ART
Full year comprehensive foundation course. Pre-requisite for all advanced electives in art. Course covers the elements of art and principles of design in depth, with an emphasis on art history and multicultural art forms. A wide variety of mediums are used, including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, clay, and sculpture. Art criticism is covered, which includes a written report on a famous artist or style of art. Purchase of studio materials required.
