    Day 2


    Due to lack of interest, the Basketball Cornhole Tournament for Saturday has been canceled. 


    Attention Drama Club members: permission slips for Annie are posted on Mr. Burnett’s classroom door.  They must be turned in by the end of the day on Monday.  


    Do you need a place to get your homework done? Are you struggling in one or more of your classes? Come join us for homework help after school in the high school library. Tutors from local colleges are available to help all students in grades 7-12 if you need it Monday- Thursday 2:15-4:15 and Friday 2:15-3:15.


    The NNCS Key Club will be collecting pop top tabs this week for the local Ronald McDonald House.  There are collection boxes in all 3 lobbies.


    The NNCS Key Club and Travel Club are hosting the Welcome Back Middle Level Fun Night on Friday, September 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., in the HS cafeteria.  There will be games and dodgeball.  Admission is $3.00.  Food and tickets are extra.  Parents need to sign you out at the end of the night.  No outside guests are allowed.


    The NNCS Key Club is holding a Free Movie Day on Saturday, September 25, in the HS Auditorium at 1:00 p.m.  The movie showing is “Luck.”  There will be a concession with goodies, popcorn and beverages.  Proceeds will be going to Soles 4 Souls, this program gives shoes to people who need them.


    Travel Club will be holding its annual touch football tournament Saturday, October 1, from 11:00-2:00 p.m., on the modified soccer fields.  $10 per person, just sign up, show, and we will create teams that morning.  Everybody is guaranteed 5 games and the winning team will win championship T-shirts.  The tournament is open to students in grades 7 through 12 plus outside guests.  Please see the signs posted throughout the school.  See Mr. Rishe with any questions.
