     Day 3

      

    The first Middle School Student Council meeting will be in Mr Short’s room 235 on Monday during lunch.

     

    IMPETUS will be traveling to Clarkson University for the kickoff meeting this Wednesday, 9/18. We will meet in room 242 after school to discuss our plans for the year and then board the bus for Clarkson around 3:15 p.m. We will return to school by 5:45 p.m. If you are planning on going on this trip, you must get a permission slip from Mr. Ellison in room 242.  Anyone who has participated in IMPETUS in the past is welcome to attend. Please talk to Mr. Ellison if you have any questions.

     

    The Extended Day Program starts on Tuesday, September 17.

     

    At the Salmon River cross country invitational held on Saturday, our Flyer runners came back with 19 medals and 4 plaques.  Anthony Fiacco, Jace Williamson, David Scovil, Karl Liebfred, and Ethan King won the JV cross country race.  

    Logan Bradley also returned as champion in the boys modified race running 9:39 for the 1.5 mile course. He was followed by Dominic Fiacco in 2nd and Carson Colbert in 3rd place.  Matt Richards took 6th, Liam McGinnis 9th, Thomas Burkum and Lochlan Sweeney were 11th and 21st.  Way to run Flyers!


    Girls Modified Cross Country won the Salmon River Invitational on Saturday!  
    Madison O’Brien led the girls with a 4th place finish.  She was followed by Madison Ashley in 6th place, Aries Akins  9th, Maleea Mullen 10th, Hannah Tharret and Meadow Cupps placed 12th and 13th.  Ayla Jenkins, Willow Jones, Anna Hall, Mercedes St. John, Mecca Woodward, and Emma Dillon all ran well in the meet.  Great job ladies!

     

    The first meeting for Robotics will be today from 2:15-4:00 in Mrs. Gutenmann’s Room 19.
