     Day 4

5th and 6th Grade Chorus members, if you would like to help Mrs. Harvey make up motions for “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” please stay after school Tuesday until 2:45.  This is optional.

Indoor soccer is back!!  All students grades 7 through 12 are welcome.  It runs Tuesday nights from 8 to 10 and Saturdays from 2 to 4.  Only NNCS students are welcome on Tuesdays. Saturdays will be open to all. Tuesday we will meet in the high school gym.

IMPETUS will meet after school tomorrow in room 242.

Last Saturday at the NY State Cross Country Championships the boys and girls cross country teams both finished 8th out of 11 teams in the Class C race.

Congratulations Maddie Dinneen on finishing in 8th place out of 130 runners and bringing home a medal – the only Section 10 runner to do so.  Sharon Colbert, Rachel Hewey, Lauren Sweet, Cara Stone, Erin Dickinson, and Kylie Tebo all had strong races and ran personal bests for the season.

The boys team was led by Owen Haas who placed 58th overall.  He was followed by Layton Colbert, Clayton Reed, Thomas Hopsicker, Michael Richards, Levi Sochia, and Dominic Fiacco.  Only 1 minute 6 seconds separated all 7 of our runners.

Great Job this season runners, Mr. Fetter is proud of all of you!

Please remember be safe, be respectful, and be responsible.
