My name is Mrs. Akins.  I have been teaching at NNES since 2005.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades.  I am excited about sharing learning experiences with my students, and learning right along with them!

I love reading, cooking, spending time with my husband and 4 children, walking our dogs, and traveling.
